Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd (HMSI) started its week long celebrations on the World Environment Day at its Manesar plant in the state of Haryana and also across all India dealership networks. The company has chosen the theme for this year as “Raise your voice not the sea level”. Honda is celebrating the Environment Week from June 5 to 11, 2014Keita Muramatsu- President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India led the celebrations with a tree plantation at the factory. Later an environment pledge was taken by all Honda associates to stay committed towards environment protection.Keita Muramatsu said that Honda announced its global vision of 30pc CO2 A reduction by 2020 and in India for the company was actively contributing to build a greener tomorrowHonda has installed at its plant waste heat recovery boilers to recover waste energy.
